A minor in Economics is a quick way to learn some basic economic ideas and enrich your resume. Students are required to take six economics courses, including principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, and intermediate macroeconomics.

With a minor in economics, you may find jobs in state and federal governments, banks, insurance and finance companies. It will also enhance your credentials in any job where a basic college degree is required.
